Question
Purchased First Editions Vanilla Strawberry hydrangea tree almost 2 weeks ago. Planted it on the ground, full sun (morning)area. Now, the bottom leaves are turning yellow. I make sure that soil doesn’t get dry. What to do?
Answer
It looks like your Vanilla Strawberry Hydrangea tree is getting settled in. You are right, the yellow leaves are a sign of stress. At the nursery, the tree was probably watered daily. Overall, it looks healthy. Try to stretch out the watering from frequent, light moisture to deep watering. You want the roots to grow deeper and stretch for water.
