What is the reason my hydrangeas aren’t blooming?

One of the most common reasons that hydrangeas don’t flower is the wrong fertilizer. Select one that is higher in phosphorous (the middle number on the NPK ratio) than nitrogen. Phosphorous helps flower buds grow, nitrogen helps leaves grow. Prune at the wrong time, and you risk cutting off the flower buds. Other causes are not enough sun or water.
