Question
I have two hydrangea plants (Vanilla Strawberry) from last year. I never cut the dried flowers off from last summer. What do I have to do this spring to ensure they get new flowers this summer?

Answer
This is actually the perfect time of year to prune your panicle hydrangea like Vanilla Strawberry. Cut each stem back by at least 1/3, following this guide: https://youtu.be/KdFTkk_tiW8. Happy spring!
