Question

Instructions to care for a viburnum plicatum. Thank you.

Answer

In warmer areas of the country, Viburnum plicatum does best with morning sun and some protection from the hot afternoon sun. Our planting and care guide has information on site selection, soil preparation, watering and fertilizing. Be certain to hold off on fertilizing this year. You don’t want to encourage new growth going into fall and winter. Also, take a look at our guide on preparing plants for winter to learn about fall watering, winter mulching, and winter watering.
