Once the flower ball is dying off, can I cut “dead head” the flower off of the stem and how far should I cut?

Answer
It’s a good idea to snip off the faded flowers to help encourage new blooms. Once fall comes along, I leave some dried flowers on to help give winter interest to the garden. Here’s a video to learn about deadheading and see how much to trim off.
