WHY IS MY AMBER JUBILEE NINEBARK ALL GREEN?

I’ve found that Amber Jubilee Ninebark has best color when it is in full sun as the new leaves are coming on in the spring. The new leaves are quite colorful in the spring and then can mature to green in the heat of summer. When fall comes along, they get pretty fall color.
