Question

WILL GARDENIAS FLOWER ALL YEAR LONG IF WATERED AND FERTILIZED?

Answer

I’m glad you asked!

It’s not quite the same as non-stop blooming – however, both Double Mint and Sweet Tea are reblooming gardenias. They will flower in the spring and then rebloom throughout the summer. When the day and night temperatures warm up, they will stop setting buds. I’ve read that if you control the temperature to a springtime setting, you can extend the season of blooms. If you give this a try, expect to fertilize and water more often. And, let me know what happens!
