Question
Why are my Music Box roses planted on the east side of my house growing a few long branches with flowers only at the tips, while the shorter branches are not producing many buds?
Answer
There are a few tips we can share to help you get more flowers on your roses.
By planting on the east side of your home, the roses are receiving less light than ideal. They need at least 5–6 hours of direct light to really thrive, which typically means the south or west side of a home.
Easy Elegance® roses need very little pruning, but this blog post explains when to do that in addition to several other useful tips: https://easyeleganceroses.com/resource/planting-care/
