Recommending deer resistant plants is tough. It seems to depend on how hungry the deer are! There are hollies that are evergreen and deer seem to stay away from them. Washington State University Extension has a publication listing deer resistant plants. It’s a good reference guide and also includes tips for keeping the deer away.
