Hi, I bought two ES twist n shout plants from Real Canadian Super store. Grown in similar conditions. One plant is blooming nicely and the other is not blooming at all. Wondering why.
Thank you for providing images of the plants and tags. It almost appears as if one is fresh from the grower and the other is from an older crop. To get the same results with both hydrangeas, be certain to use a fertilizer that is higher in phosphorous than nitrogen. Phosphorous (P in the NPK ratio) helps hydrangeas grow flowers. Also, be careful when you prune. Early spring is the best time for pruning to avoid removing future flower buds. And, be certain both receive at least half a day of sun and plenty of moisture. Take a look at the Endless Summer Hydrangea planting and care guide for additional tips.
