I just received 4 plants. Should I wait until the fall to plant them in the ground and just keep them in their pots for now?

Plants going into the garden during the summer months will require additional care. You could plant them in containers for now and transplant this fall into the garden. Take a look at the First Editions container gardening guide for a few tips.
