I live in Florida, 34698. Do I still have to follow the do not prune in the fall since we don’t really have fall?


That is fantastic question! It depends on which plants you are thinking about pruning. Generally, if you don’t have any reason to prune a plant then no problem, just enjoy it! Because you don’t have cold winters, then plants like crapemyrtle can be pruned in January or February before the new growth begins. This will give them time to develop and set new blooms in summer.
