Question

I planted 3 Endless Summer (Summer Crush) last summer. However, during the later part of the season there were holes on most of the leaves. I think there are some pest. What should I do to save my hydrangeas and when is the best time to do it?

Answer

If holes were being caused by a pest last year, there shouldn’t be any lasting damage that will carry over to this spring. If you see the holes arise again this year, try and look for any bugs on the leaves and try to remove them by knocking into soapy water. If there’s nothing visible you can try spraying with a product like Insect Control: https://www.espoma.com/controls/.
