IS THE HARDY HIBISCUS RELATED TO HOLLYHOCKS?

You have a good eye! They do have much in common and both are in the Malvaceae (mallow) family. I read somewhere that they are cousins. Hardy hibiscus is a perennial and hollyhocks a biennial. Both have beautiful flowers and are easy to grow.
