Last April I bought Endless Summer hydrangeas Summer Crush – it had 2 blooms on it when I purchased it and only had 1 more bloom the rest of the year. What happened?

It could be that the specific plant you received had been cut back by the grower before your purchase, which caused it to have less blooms than you were hoping. Your sister-in-law’s experience is more on target for blooms. I’m so glad to hear that your hydrangea is coming back strong this spring, and am excited for you to start seeing blooms. For reference, I’ve shared the link to our video on maximizing blooms so you can be sure all the proper care tips are being followed to see the most color year after year.
