My Blushing Bride has so many small flower heads. It may be preventing it from growing large flowers. Should I prune some of the small heads?

Hydrangeas are just now starting to form flower buds. I would leave the smaller flower buds on for now. Follow our guidelines for fertilizing in the hydrangea planting and care guide as phosphorous helps hydrangeas produce more flowers. And, in the coming weeks your Blushing Bride Hydrangea’s buds will grow much larger as they open up.
