Question

We planted 2 Kashmir rose plants, about 5′ apart. The problem is they are drooping over in the bed. Do we support them in an up right position or leave them droop on the ground?

Answer

Oh goodness! Drooping branches can be a sign that your rose bushes aren’t getting enough water. If newly planted, they may just need to be watered more frequently to help the roots get settled in and support the new growth and flowers. It can also be caused by borers. Have you inspected a branch or trimmed one off to look for insect damage? You could take a cutting to your local garden center for assistance.
