Blossoming Questions

Purchased First Editions Vanilla Strawberry hydrangea tree almost 2 weeks ago. Planted it on the ground, full sun (morning)area. Now, the bottom leaves are turning yellow. I make sure that soil doesn’t get dry. What to do?
If I add more soil acidifier to Endless Summer blue, will it make them darkest blue or purple? They are a medium blue now. I’d like purple! Love my endless summer, thank you.
My endless summer hydrangeas look like they are dying. The pots didn’t have drainage holes so soil was always wet. Put holes in now for drainage. Will they come back?
When I bought my hydrangea they dropped good I planted them in a pot big enough for them, then the flowers started to die in turn brown some of the leaves turned brown. I moved them to a spot that had a little more sun, it didn’t help so I moved it back in front of the house which gets morning sun in till noon and I clipped off all the dead stuff, put some coffee grinds and more soil and the leaves are growing back to plant looks healthy my question is will I get flowers this summer or not till next summer?
Do any hydrangeas do well in moist soil?
My endless summer hydrangea is looking a little bit wilted. Some of the flower buds are bending down. I felt the soil and it is moist. We had a thunderstorm last night with strong wind for about 1-2 hours. Could that be the reason why? Is there anything I should do at this point? Thank you and any insight is appreciated:)
I just bought 2 of “The Original” and noticed some of blooms are turning brown. I’m not sure if I’m adding too much water or not enough water. They are planted in containers with good drainage and the soil is moist. They now only get morning sun. I just moved them so they aren’t getting sun all day long. Suggestions would be appreciated! I live in NY.
I planted 5 hydrangeas and two have green wood beneath the soil, two have each one green leaf sprout. My fifth shows no sign of life! I did not cut wood down as they are only 12 inches as these were new plants – I do not see anything happening on the old wood. The buds are hard and dark brown (look dead) – they get morning sun until about 1 pm then are in the shade for the rest of the day – soil is moist but not wet and I’ve added fertilizer—is this normal for June? What else can I do to make them thrive?
Do I add acidic soil like a normal hydrangea?
What shade loving plants besides hostas will tolerate dry, heavy clay soil?
