Question

Just bought Hydrangea Light-o-Day. Does it need any specific soil requirements. My soil is a bit clay so I was going to add peat.

Answer

Some clay in the garden soil is helpful as it has good nutrients. Compost, organic matter, is also an option for breaking up clay to improve drainage and add nutrients. When finding a place in the garden for your Light-O-Day Hydrangea, look for a spot with morning sun and afternoon shade. Variegated leaves sometimes struggle in full sun.
