I just purchased Endless Summer^® hydrangeas. Can I leave them potted until next spring to plant without injury?

I planted 2 Easy Elegance^® roses this spring, but I’ve seen no signs of new growth. They are in full sun, and I have tried to keep them well watered. Would cutting them back a bit prompt new growth?

I have a reblooming lilac that only blooms once in the early spring.How do I get it to rebloom?

I have read the winter instructions but that is if the plant is planted in the ground and the roots are underground. With the plant in a pot the roots are above ground and is at more risk of root freezing. What can I do with this plant so it will come up again each year?
