I have an 18″ x 18″ pot and would like to plant either a 1 or 2 gallon hydrangea bloom. I live in NYC and have a large terrace. Am I better off to get the 1 gallon size and keep it trimmed to fit in the pot as it grows – and replant it to a larger pot – or divide to fit in two pots later on?

I am wondering how fast the Linebacker Distylium grows. I am full sun, zone 7a. I am having trouble finding it’s growth rate online

Why my hydrangea seems it’s dying (leaves are turning yellow) after I planted it in my backyard. It was absolutely great while in the pot. I water it every other day but see no sign of improvement.
